Breaking The Mask

My opinion of people...

Everyone in this world wears a mask. On each person's mask are drawings of artwork, details and designs of the person behind the mask. Those are the things that the individual wants the world to see openly...the good ideas that they consider makes them unique or just an likable person in general rather it may be there skills, talents, personality traits, or current history(present or recent).

Behind that mask is the true face...with its imperfections, scars, and age (the actual history, past, present or recent). The question...does what the mask represents match what the face represents?

To truly find out you either have to...
1.)Break the person's mask (recognize the lies or half-truths)
2.)Let the person remove there own mask (be real with you)

Don't you hate when you get to know a person to find out there nothing what you thought they were or what they advertised to be? I'm fed up with it to be honest.

Anyway, a change has just happen. Bout to put this blog into use other than music as I over think and share. Time to go-in on the world, as raw as reality is.

yup! You are absolutely correct. I must admit sometime it is not easy for people to show what lies behind their mask when they first meet people. You want to hide insecurities and sometimes you want to unmask the others before you reveal the real you. But yes i gotta agree its annoying when people just go on being someone they are not and you find out later. It aint cool

I never even thought about it, but this makes so much sense! We really do all have a mask.... And now that I think about it, even when I'm at work I act all nice and I smile way too much and I compliment people on shit I don't even like just so they can think I'm this "nice girl" and give me more tips LOL! And then there's the people who act like they're one thing in the beginning, and as time goes on it fades away... And the "real" them shows through. I hate that, because by then, you're hooked on who you thought they were and you stay w/ them hoping they will change "back into who they were" when in reality, they were never that in the first...
