Assassin With Son

Last night I got lucky and found a gem. The soundtrack to one of my favorite movies, "Shogun Assassin".

The movie's outlook is a Shogun who grew paranoid as he became senile sent his ninjas and sons to kill his #1 samurai. They failed but did kill the samurai’s wife. The samurai swore to avenge the death of his wife and roams the countryside with his toddler son in search of vengeance. Apparently they made 4 sequels but I've only seen the 1st one. The 1st movie is rare enough but the sequels are even harder to find.

Anyway, I'm not a fan of synthesizer used instrumentals but this soundtrack gets a pass. I wouldn't of thought you could make great melodies like the ones I've heard on the soundtrack. Needless to say....I'm sampling the hell out of this soundtrack.

"This soundtrack gets a pass", huh? Really? When I heard it, my first thought was that it really sounded like you. I'm not really into movies like this, but now i want to see it. I can't wait to hear what you do with it.

I mean, it's old-skool but it's still a great movie in my opinion.
But the soundtrack...that's experimental far as my sound.::shrugs::
